Hola!

We were graced with a visit from Carl's dad and his wife, Laurence--all the way from Puerto Rico! We had two fun-filled days beginning with breakfast at our house on Saturday, the U of O football game, and a gourmet dinner (prepared with love by Auntie Bev) with Father Rock, Marlene Kraus, and Robert (aka Uncle Bobby). On Sunday, Ava and I stayed behind (so she could get a much needed nap) while the rest of the crew attended Mass at the Mt. Angel Abbey and went to a reception afterwards (for a fiftieth reunion for the class of seminarians before Rock). Henry loved it and wants to go back to Mt. Angel tomorrow (that is probably not on our agenda this week...). Regardless, we were so happy to spend some time with Doug and Laurence and are looking forward to seeing them again on Wednesday and through the weekend!
