Boston--Part 1--Getting There

Despite the hecticness of traveling on a 5 1/2 hour flight 24 weeks pregnant with our 2 and 4 1/2 year old, we were all excited to set off on our adventure to Boston! Carl was able to drive us up (we had a 7 am departure) and go in with us. He asked the ticket agent if he could walk us back to the gate and she gave him a stand by pass (thank you for the suggestion Auntie Bev!). It was a godsend to have him go through security with us and wait at the gate. He sat with Henry and I let Ava stretch her legs before all that sitting. Carl waved goodby at the jet way and we were on our way. The kids were truly fantastic (thank the Lord!). There wasn't even a hint of crying the entire trip. We were greeted by Erin and the kids (all 3 of them) inside the airport and there our adventure began! We were met with a few furtive glances as we traipsed to the car with our 5 children and my big belly but we managed and with Erin's creative seating, were all able to pile into their Toyota Sienna for the week!
