We had a few visits to Grandpa B and Lulu's in March. The last of which was a feast for lunch! I didn't get any photos this last trip but here are a few from earlier in March. I am always amazed by how they love our kids and honor their individual differences. And then I am also amazed at an 81 year old great grandfather that hops down on the ground and 'plays ball' with Ava and an 81 year old great grandmother who can read the smallest type I've ever seen with her great grandson. Oh how inspiring they are!

Our little gymnast
Ava has started a tumbling class (Tumble Bugs) in lieu of continuing with the Mommy and Me preschool class for the Spring. She LOVES it (particularly her leotard and footless tights) and in a class for 3-5 year olds--this girl can hold her own! She has a self-assuredness that even I admire. God has blessed her with a most wonderful personality.

New digs
We have finally spruced up the kids rooms a bit.
Henry literally had only a bed a bookshelf and a desk prior to this weekend. Here is his zen-inspired world traveler room. He chose the 'Phoenix Palm' and the lamp that was 'Made in India'. He still needs some artwork but othewise it's pretty much done!

The girls need artwork too but here's their room including the darling club chairs (that spin) that my parents found at a consignment shop in Portland. I love that they have matching bedding (it looks a little washed out in the photos).

Family celebrity
Elyse is still a celebrity as far as Henry and Ava are concerned. They love to hold her and hover more often than not. She is growing with leaps and bounds and is a joy to us all. Recently she started cooing and 'talking' with us. What a miracle it is to behold her. (Also see 'First Smiles'--a back blog on 2/18)
