Our Bigger Bean has new photos and a name

Here are a few of the ultrasound photos from my appointment on Thursday. She is 19 weeks 4 days and a whopping 10 ounces. We were thrilled to find out we are having another girl (though we would have been thrilled either way) and we got a call back from my doctor on Friday that all the ultrasound results were normal. We are so, so thankful.





Now, instead of referring to her as our bean we can call her by name, Isabel Grace. The kids are bookended by names of their great, great grandparents--Henry on Carl's side and Grace on mine. We also feel as though we have been 'graced' by this new life. We are looking forward to meeting her and for her to meet all of you! Thank you for your love and prayers.

The Van and The Belly

I must say that never before have I loved a car like I love this one...

The story of how we came to own this car is too long and arduous to spend time blogging about. But after weeks (like 6) of driving all three kids in the Accord and stressing about which car to buy (and even buying one that we did not like and trading it for the one we now have), we LOVE this car. It has all the bells and whistles I never knew I wanted...

It was perfect for our road trip to Santa Barbara--more to come on that soon.






That said, I thought an update on the growing little one might be appreciated by those of you far away (here's my belly at the end of 17 weeks--taken last Friday). We love this baby so and can't wait to find out more at our big ultrasound next Thursday, April 22nd. Stay tuned!
