We had a true BirthDAY celebration for Lulu on Saturday. It began with surprise visits from Katy (from Madison, WI) and Jon and Linda (from Richardson, TX). Lulu was truly stunned and so happy. We then enjoyed lunch at Kwan's, the surprise guests visited at Beryl and Lulu's, and we had a simple soup supper at our house to cap off the evening (thank you to all who contributed to the meal!). Mary Ann coordinated a fantastic celebration. It was a joyful day and we were so grateful to let Lulu know just how special she is to us.
P.S. There may be some priceless videos (thanks to Katy) of the day, but they will be posted later (if we can overcome some technical difficulties!) And thank you to Katy for many of these photos as well!

Perhaps the only time Henry sat still all evening--to guzzle his sparkling apple-grape juice! What a sweet (and so very energetic) boy he is! He is a true extrovert and actually gains momentum when we have company because he loves to be with people!
