The Zoo

We took the kids to the zoo on Sunday and it was brisk, but glorious. The sea lions (two of them) put on a show, as did the hippos, bats, and tigers. My personal highlight however was when Carl recounted what happened at the elephants (Ava and I had trotted off in search of new animals a few moments before). Apparently one of the elephants was relieving itself (both #1 and #2) and Henry (who was perched on Carl's shoulders) said, "Boy, I bet that elephant feels a lot better", with all the sincerity he could muster. It gave me a feverish fit of the giggles.
